Offseason activities are already in full swing for the Cowboys, who will see some major changes to their coaching staff this season. With the departure of former head coach Jason Garrett, owner Jerry Jones has brought in veteran coach Mike McCarthy to hopefully lead Dallas back to another Super Bowl. McCarthy already has one Super Bowl win under his belt from his tenure as head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
Returning for the Cowboys will be offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who led the Dallas offense to a number one ranking in total yards last season. Mike Nolan comes on board as the team’s defensive coordinator. He has been the linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints for the past 3 years. Rounding out the main coaching staff is John Fassel, who will be the Cowboys new special teams coordinator for the 2020 season.
