Charles “Chuck” Scroggs has led the Rockwall County, Texas firm to become one of the leading scaffolding distributors in the state. He also serves as president of C and D Commercial Services Inc. Active within his local Rockwall, Texas, community, Chuck Scroggs was voted into the Sheriff’s Posse in 2014.
The Sheriff’s Posse was established in 1991 by lifelong horse rider Roy Hance and by local Sheriff Jacques Kiere. An all-volunteer organization, the Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse supports the sheriff in maintaining safety and order throughout the county.
Volunteers provide security by patrolling the parking lot during high school games and other events, as well as removing animals to safety when they wander onto roadways. Additionally, the group participates in community events such as the Christmas parade and the Spring Baseball Parade. Participants in the Fort Worth Stock Show in 2000, the Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse took home the first-place prize for their entry.
